Peperomia obtusifolia variegata
Unlike real babies, this plant is easy to care for. It has oval-shaped, marbled leaves growing on reddish-green stems and produces light green flower spikes containing tiny white flowers. It hails from the tropical Americas, so make sure it stays in warmer environments and avoid drafty windows.
Bright, indirect light. Periods of direct sun are good too.
SM: ~8" tall and a 4" pot.
Pro-tip: Rotate a quarter-turn every time you water it to maintain even growth.

Had my eye on a rubber tree for a long time...but they are not pet friendly. Bought this little guy on a whim because it looks similar to the tree I always wanted, just smaller. I am super happy with it. And it is safe for my cat! Actually, in my original shipment of several plants, this one was missing, but rooted cleared up the problem right away and sent me another one without charge. I couldn't be more pleased!

Love this plant too. Of the four plants I ordered, this one is having the hardest time adjusting to my house, but it’s starting to perk up and look happy! Love the big leaves and coloration.
