Philodendron Brasil

Philodendron hederaceum

The Brasil is a quick grower (for you lack of patience) that’s also hard to kill (for your black thumb).

This plant ships in a nursery container. See it potted here

Low Maintenance

A ten day surf trip to Bali is still in the cards. Water before leaving and you're jet set.

Any Indirect Light

It can tolerate low light levels but will live it's best life in medium to bright filtered light.

A Good Gift

Low care and adaptable to most indirect light situations. How can they resist?

A natural climber in the tropics of Latin America, the Philodendron Brasil is an indoor favorite with heart-shaped leaves and distinct variegation.

This vining Philodendron thrives in medium light and high humidity—conditions that mimic its natural habitat. Water it weekly, sit back and watch it thrive.

Size will vary, but total height is about 8 inches and container width is 4 inches.

How to not kill me

Watering

Water once a week

If that's too hard then we suggest getting a pet rock. Water when the top two inches of soil is bone dry, or when its leaves begin to droop.

Sunlight

Low to Bright Indirect

Almost as adaptable and versatile as Bill Murray, this plant can handle most indoor lighting situations, but should never be exposed to direct light.

Humidity

Slays in high humidity

It comes from the tropics so mist it frequently with a spray bottle, or use a humidifier to amp up the moisture in your space. It'll thank you by looking good and staying alive.
