Ava, Hanging

Arrowhead "White Butterfly"
Syngonium podophyllum

Ava is the beauty of the arrowhead family. Everyone in the family is pretty low maintenance and thrive in ambient light. Their leaves need to be trimmed once in a while to prevent a droopy look. Check out her brother Ace if you like a more verdant look.

Sunlight:Medium to bright indirect light.

 No direct sunlight.

Water:Water thoroughly once a week. Soil can stay slightly moist.

Pets:Toxic if ingested.

Newbies:Great for beginners.

Grows:Her vines can climb or trail if you guide them with string or fishing line.

Pro-tip: They're easy to propagate and share with friends—just make cuts at the bottom of stems, and root in water amidst bright light.

Hanging basket: Exactly 12 inches from the top of the hook to the soil and a container width of 5 inches.

Foliage length will vary.
