King of Air Plants
Tillandsia xerographica

Wallace Xerographica, known professionally as The Notorious A.I.R., is a professional airplant. The debut of his large silvery gray leaves and don't-need-soil attitude made him a central figure in East Coast houseplants, and increased air plant visibility in the genre at a time when regular houseplants dominated the mainstream. His ease of care and resilient demeanor is why he is considered to be one of the greatest air plants of all time.

Sunlight:Thrives in high indirect light and can tolerate periods of direct light.

Water:Soak once a week for 15 minutes.

Pets:He's a big fan of pets.

Travel:Two week tour in South Africa? He won't even notice.

Newbies:Have a so-called "black thumb"? Not after him.

Pro-tip: Dry him upside down to prevent root rot. He may even flower if you keep him on a consistent watering schedule and give him enough bright light.

Only 1 left!

The big ass air plant thrives in bright, indirect light and needs water once a week. All you need to do is plug your sink and let it soak in lukewarm water for 10-15 minutes. Shake excess water from the bulb and dry it upside down to prevent root rot in their crevasses.

If you see crisping or shriveling on the edges, your big ass air plant is getting too much direct light. Move it away from the light source to make it happier.

I mean, it's big. HUGE. This big ass air plant is about four inches high and five inches wide.
