Hailing from South Africa, her thick reddish brown succulent stems and tiny green leaves set her apart. In the wild, she is a popular snack for elephants. Portia grows much faster than her buddy Jade. In the right conditions, she can bloom small pink flowers that grow in clusters.
Bright indirect light mixed with direct exposure is ideal.
Every 2-3 weeks. Allow soil to dry out completely.
Loves pets (unless they're elephants).
A spritz here and there won't hurt.
That two week safari in South Africa is looking good.
Pro-tip: Portia goes dormant in colder months, so you can slow watering down to once a month.

Sizes will vary.
