Rattlesnake Calathea
Calathea lancifolia

Drake made his first debut on a TV show called Thegrassy and it wasn't long before his beautifully patterned leaves, pet-friendly attitude, and low-light needs quickly catapulted him into stardom. His recent single God's Plant has achieved quadruple plantinum status in the US.

Sunlight:Low to bright indirect light.

Water:Water once a week. Soil can stay slightly moist.

Pets:So friendly.

Newbies:Great for beginners and building that green thumb.

Easy:Lower maintenance than your Netflix subscription.

Pro-tip: Use filtered water when watering, or let tap water sit for a day prior. This prevents leaf tip burn.

Native to Brazil, the Rattlesnake thrives in environments that emulate high humidity and partial shade. It likes its soil to be a bit moist and does well in medium or low indirect light.

If you see its leaves rising and falling throughout the day, no need to worry, it’s just following its circadian rhythm. This plant is pet friendly!

Small: Around 12 inches tall and a container width of 4 inches.
